Santigold – Disperate Youth
To be honest, I’ve not been keeping up with Santigold since “Gifted” (2008?). Her latest single “Disperate Youth” makes me regret that and wonder what else I’ve been missing out on. A little bit of everything on this one it seems, there’s really no pinning down the sound but if I had to call it, its a mix between space-age HipHop, Chillwave and Indie Rock. Quite the combination.
